Course Objectives

This is a 2-day workshop designed to equip individuals with the skills to better manage performance from the supply base and build effective working relationships with suppliers.

  • Apply tools and techniques to help create strategic relationships
  • Effectively measure & manage strategic supplier relationships
  • Identify how to drive relationship improvement into the future with chosen suppliers
  • Understand the appropriate & inappropriate behaviour types required to effectively manage strategic relationships
  • Using strategic relationships as an enabler to supplier development
  • Use rights, remedies and controls to manage and deal with non-performance
  • Developing contingency plans, manage risk and business continuity
  • Establish effective governance structures to manage supplier relationships.
